Baby H. Update

Good Morning.  I should be doing laundry or dishes, or at least taking a shower, but someone woke up at 1:30am and wanted a bottle.  I couldn't go back to sleep which worked out just fine because she woke up again at 3:00 am.  I think her new teeth are bothering her.  I gave her some Tylenol and we finally both fell asleep for the night.  So, I thought in my laziness that I would at least catch up on my blog a little.  Every day I watch Baby H.  and I think that I better record all the amazing things she is starting to do before I forget how they happened. 

Baby H is:

• crawiling around like a speed demon.  She was scooting at Thanksgiving, but now she is in full speed
• after watching her cousin Jillian at Christmas she has started pulling herself up on the furniture.  She is very proud of this accomplishment
• At Thanksgiving she started copying Uncle Renato's head shake, and often tells us no even though she doesn't know it.
• Just this last week she started copying more movements.  She is very excited by the reaction she gets out of people when she lifts her arms in the air and everyone says, "Soooooo big!"  She has also given me a head nod or two.  
• A lady sitting next to me at Anna's dance studio tilted her head at H. and baby did it back.  She got such a good laugh from myself and the lady that she tries the new move all the time now.
• I weighed her on our home scale and she now weighs 19 lbs. (She is 8.5 months old)
• She chatters away - mamama,  dadada, bababa, and many combinations thereof
• She eats like a champ - rice cereal and baby food-she likes almost every flavor but bananas are her favorite and green beans and carrots are her least favorite.  She likes to sit in her high chair and eat those baby puffs.
• She crawls around and plays with toys on the floor for hours.
• Despite last night she usually sleeps 12 hours straight at night.
• her hair is crazier than ever.  It is getting longer and still half curly and half sticky outy: :)
• She loves Anna and smiles for her the biggest.
• She does not like her car seat.  She does a great stiff as a board while you're trying to strap her in.
• She can be very loud either happy or sad - squealing or yelling.
• She learned how to blow a raspberry this week.  A couple of weeks ago she learned how to bounce the back of her hand off her mouth to make a nice noise.
• She wakes up very happy and is so excited to see you come get her out of  that crib
• She loves David and lights up when he comes home.
• She loves people and smiles huge at a new face until they give her some attention back.
• A couple of days after Christmas she finally got her first tooth.  Now there is also a second one growing right next to it.

That is all I can think of for now.  I will post some pictures later.
