Adventure Update 2

We have had baby H. for 7 weeks now.  She has a court date next Tuesday and the plan is to return to her mom.  We knew from the beginning that she would probably only be with us until June, so we have been expecting her to return even before this.  We will see how we do next Wednesday.  She has gotten very big- she weighed 10.5 lbs on my bathroom scale a couple of days ago.  She continues to eat like a champ.  She is sleeping really well on a regular basis (9pm-5am), but most fun of all is that she is full of smiles-the real kind where you smile at her and she smiles back.  Sometimes when she wakes up at 7 or 8 she is all smiles for me.  She looks like she could sing a happy song about the morning time like that guy on the friends episode outside Joey's window.  Anyhoo,  we are really having fun with her, and it will be very hard to say good bye.  Luckily we are going out of town two days after she leaves us.  I think that will help distract us.  Life is an adventure, and so far this has been a good one.
