Swim Lessons

This year was Anna's first year in big girl swim lessons (Mommy did not get in the water). She did great. We did them with this girl Samantha in their backyard pool. She was a fantastic teacher. Anna had three other little boys in her class. In the picture above they're waiting for the last boy. After the first week she wanted goggles. She would wear them the whole lesson. Doesn't she look stylin'? This is her "bug" swimsuit that she loves.
Playing red light green light
At the end of the lesson everyone gets to jump off the diving board to the teacher
Anna is a little cautious, but she loves it. Everyday she asks me why she has to leave swim lessons. She figures she can stay there all day.
She jumps all the way in and goes under, yeah!
Since the goggles she seems much more willing to go under the water.
"Did you see me Mom?"
You gotta love summer

Abby learned to swim this summer, and it makes going to the pool so much more fun. She's still not a fan of the diving board. She did swim around to me in "5 ft," as she says this week. Goggles really do make a difference. It took about half of the summer for Abby to realize that. She's a bit stubborn.

Cute pix.
