Spud day 2009!

What a fantastic Spud day this year. For those of you who don't know, Spud day is a celebration of all things potato. It is held in David's hometown of Shelley, Idaho. There is a parade with Spud day royalty, a free baked potato in the park, a tug of war over a mashed potato pit (mixed up in a cement truck. Then, there is your basic bouncy house, kiddy games, fair food etc. This year was perfect weather. Anna had a fantastic time with all her Pattee cousins. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera to the park, so I only have pictures of the parade.

Waiting with the cousins for the parade to begin. The Parade begins with the flag.Anna collected so much candy, we handed some of it out at Halloween. Cousin Caden in action. Waving to the farm machinery. Can you see the spuddy buddies taped to the car?Float of masquerading potatoes.Caden hanging with David at the end of the parade.
